ABOUT ME

Since Minding My Mindset way back in 2016 I've transformed from ultimate negative thinker to eternal optimist.

I recognised my own power:

I stopped chronically worrying, developed self-respect, encouraged resilience and formed a genuine sense of self-love.

This paired with the deeper learning of how my self-worth affects everything around me, and my confidence has soared.

Being on my own journey, I've found that my mission in life is to help others develop true confidence and self-belief so you can live a more positive, inspired life. I trained as a Life + Mindset Coach and I'm now on a journey to becoming a Psychotherapist in Transactional Analysis.

MY STORY

For me Minding My Mindset was born out of heartbreak. I was miserable, stressed out and bordering on psychotic with virtually no self-esteem.

I kept replaying the same sh*tty situations over and over, allowing my triggers to dominate me and was constantly floored by my insecurities - highlighted and made worse by the volatile relationship with my ex-partner who offered no reassurance or safety. I was a self proclaimed pessimist and my self-worth was in the absolute gutter!

And then, I was cheated on.

In that moment, it felt like my entire world collapsed. I was always petrified of being cheated on - I had such big trust issues - but nothing prepared me for the reality of it.

 

The insecurities.

The abandonment.

Feeling like I was second best.

The overwhelming sense of not being good enough...

I screamed. I shouted. And then I broke down.

In truth, I had always been so insecure, both within myself and massively in my relationships.

I lacked self-esteem, self-respect and had no self-worth, and so I used this event as the catalyst for my change and growth.

It pushed me to develop and set boundaries, and new standards for myself. I knew that, moving forward, I had to prioritise myself and that my mood, tears and insecurities weren't ever going to be dictated by a partner again.

I was committed to taking back my full control, and in time, I did.

Since then, my self-worth has rocketed.

I stayed single for 7 years, built myself up, strengthened my confidence and standards, dated intentionally and I'm now in the happy, loving, blissful relationship I knew I wouldn't settle for less than.

What felt like the end of my world was actually the beginning on my journey to rediscovering my incredible Self, and I want to help teach you to lose the doubt, insecurities and baggage so you can move forward and start thriving in your life!
